This is a great documentary on 'Women of Rockabilly'. It's free on YouTube. It's about an hour long. It's a great watch. One thing that stood out for me in the documentary was the fact that all of the female rockabilly stars of the 50s were short changed because they were women. They rocked just as hard as the men, had better 'rock' voices and looked great on stage. I know it was the times (even in todays world women are short changed). But it was also the business. Women bought more 'teen idol' records than men so the flow of money (as usual), dictated where the art would flourish. That's my two cents on the subject of 'Women of Rockabilly'. Cheers!
